Heta Sammalisto
Introduction
Heta Sammalisto is a Finnish soprano born in 1993. She completed her Master’s at the Sibelius Academy of the University of the Arts Helsinki in 2021, after first studying voice at the Jyväskylä University of Applied Sciences. Notable performances include First Lady in Mozart’s The Magic Flute (Finnish National Opera 2023), Maria in Krenek’s Der Diktator (Tapiola Sinfonietta 2023), Rosalinde in Strauss’ Die Fledermaus (Pori City Orchestra 2022), and First Lady in Kokkonen’s The Last Temptations (Pori 2019). In 2023, she won third prize in the Lappeenranta singing competition.
