The eighth Mirjam Helin competition took place 20–29 May 2019 in Musiikkitalo, Helsinki. There were 46 competitors representing 22 nationalities. A total of €173 000 was awarded in prizes.
The winners of the 2019 competition were Johanna Wallroth, Sweden, and Stefan Astakhov, Germany.
