Renáta Gebe-Fügi

Renáta Gebe-Fügi is a Hungarian soprano born in 1993. She studied violin and singing at the Gheorghe Dima Music Academy in Cluj, Romania. Her first opera role was Ernestina in Rossini’s L’occasione fa il ladro at the national premiere of the piece in March 2017, in Cluj-Napoca. In 2019, she made her debut at the Hungarian Opera Cluj in the role of Princess of France in Kacsóh’s John the Valiant. She was engaged for the company’s 2020 –2024 seasons to debut in the roles of Pamina in Mozart’s The Magic Flute, Norina in Donizetti’s Don Pasquale, Adina in Donizetti’s L’elisir d’amore, Mélisande in Debussy’s Pelléas et Mélisande, and Gilda in Verdi’s Rigoletto. Gebe-Fügi has performed Baroque music at numerous concerts together with the Quarto D’Oro and the Fonte di Gioia ensemble, as well as with the Transylvania Galante Baroque orchestra at the La Stravaganza Baroque Music Festival. She has appeared as a concert soloist with many orchestras, including the Hungarian National Philharmonic Orchestra, Gödöllő Philharmonic Orchestra, Transylvania State Philharmonic Orchestra, and Oradea Philharmonic Orchestra.
