Petter Moen is a Norwegian tenor, born in 1988, who has studied at the Norwegian Academy of Music in Oslo and the Royal Danish Academy of Music in Copenhagen. At various opera houses in Norway, Sweden, German and Austria he has sung roles such as Eurimaco in Monteverdi’s Il ritorno d’Ulisse in patria, the Dancing Master and Brighella in Strauss’s Ariadne auf Naxos, Remendado in Bizet’s Carmen, Don Curzio in Mozart’s Marriage of Figaro, Almaviva in Rossini’s Barber of Seville, Froh in Wagner’s Rheingold, Cheliansky in Tchaikovsky’s Pique Dame and Tamino in Mozart’s Magic Flute. As a concert soloist he has sung in Bach’s St Matthew Passion, B minor Mass and Christmas Oratorio, Handel’s oratorio Messiah, Telemann’s oratorio Der Tod Jesu and Rossini’s Stabat Mater.
