Gabriel Rollinson

Gabriel Rollinson is a German baritone of German-American parentage, born in 1993. He has studied at the Bavarian Theatre Academy August Everding, Manhattan School of Music, Karlsruhe Conservatory of Music, Opera Studio Frankfurt, and the Opera Studio in the Bavarian State Opera. Notable performances include Liederabend with Hartmut Höll at the Schubertiadà Vilabertran 2024, Bursche in Orff’s Der Mond (Bavarian State Opera, 2024), and Silvio in Leoncavallo’s Pagliacci (Staatstheater Mainz, 2023). In 2022, Rollinson made his debut at the Bregenz Festival as Idreno in Haydn’s Armida, in addition to his first appearances at the Bavarian State Opera and his debut at the Staatsoper Unter den Linden in Haas’ opera Thomas in the 2022/23 Season. He has premiered numerous works, including the role of Arturo Cidre in Hamel’s Caruso a Cuba for the Dutch National Opera and the role of Thron in Naske’s Vom Stern, der nicht leuchten konnte for the Salzburg Festival.
