Eunil Cho

Eunil Cho is a South Korean coloratura soprano born in 1995, specialising in Mozart, bel canto repertoire, and German Lieder. After her undergraduate studies at the Yonsei University, Seoul, she obtained a Master of Arts degree from the Royal Academy of Music in London. She is currently studying at the Peabody Institute of the Johns Hopkins University in the studio of Ah Young Hong. She has sung in Mozart’s The Magic Flute as Pamina and in Strauss’ Die Fledermaus as Adele at Staatsoper Hannover, in 2018, as well as taking the role of the First Boy in The Magic Flute at Maryland Opera, in 2023. Cho participated in the previous Mirjam Helin Competition in 2019 and was a finalist in the Daegu International Opera Awards the same year.
