Yuriy Hadzetskyy

Yuriy Hadzetskyy is a Ukrainian baritone, born in Lviv in 1992. He studied at the Lviv Conservatory with singing as his main subject, and has worked with various conductors especially in the field of early music. He made his opera début in 2015 at the National Opera in Lviv in the title role of Mozart’s Don Giovanni. Since 2017 he has been a member of the Young Talents Training Programme “Opera Academy” at the Polish National Opera in Warsaw where his main teacher is Olga Pasichnyk. He is a laureate of the Queen Elisabeth Competition: Voice 2018, awarded of a gold medal at the Berlin International Music Competition at the same year and in 2019 is a laureate of the 9th Veronica Dunne International Singing Competition and a winner of oratorio prize (Dublin, Ireland).
