ByeongMin Gil

ByeongMin Gil (b. 1994) is a baritone who studied at the Seoul National University College of Music. He has enjoyed success in numerous national and international singing competitions, winning the Tbilisi (2018), Otto Edelmann (Vienna, 2017), Monte Carlo Voice Master (2017) and Toulouse (2016) singing competitions. ByeongMin Gil has appeared as Figaro in Mozart’s Marriage of Figaro and has sung the title roles in Verdi’s Attila and Rachmaninov’s Aleko. His repertoire also includes the roles of Leporello in Mozart’s Don Giovanni, de Silva in Verdi’s Ernani and Caspar in Weber’s Freischütz.
