Dongmin Lee

Dongmin Lee is a South Korean coloratora soprano, born in 1990. She has lived in German since 2014, where she enrolled at the Cologne University of Music. In productions by Cologne’s International Opera Studio Lee has prepared and sung roles including Papagena in Mozart’s Magic Flute, Musetta in Puccini’s La Bohème and the title role in Stravinsky’s Rossignol as well as Lucia in Britten’s Rape of Lucretia and Flora in The Turn of the Screw. The most recent additions to her repertoire are Constance in Poulenc’s Dialogues des Carmélites, Adina in Donizetti’s L’elisir d’amore, Olympia in Offenbach’s Contes d’Hoffmann and Leila in Bizet’s Pearl Fishers.
