Stefan Hadžić is a 30-year-old Serbian baritone from Belgrade, born in 1989. He currently lives in Vienna, and speaks English, German, Italian and Russian as well as his native language. He is in the process of completing his master’s degree at the Vienna University of Music and Performing Arts, where he has studied since 2012. He has sung many operatic roles in central Europe, most recently Tonio in Puccini’s Gianni Schicchi (Poland), Don Alfonso and Guglielmo in Mozart’s Così fan tutte (Vienna), Alfred in Fujikura’s Der Goldkäfer (Basel), Marullo in Verdi’s Rigoletto (St Margarethen Opera Festival, Austria), the title roles in Tchaikovsky’s Eugene Onegin and Verdi’s Falstaff (Schönbrunn) and Dandini in Rossini’s La Cenerentola (Montenegro). As a soloist with orchestra he has performed oratorios and passions in Bratislava, Belgrade, Zagreb and at various places in Germany.
