Emma Mustaniemi is a Finnish soprano born in 1993. She obtained her Master’s degree from the Sibelius Academy in 2023, and she has also studied in The Royal Danish Academy of Music, as well as the Oulu University of Applied Sciences. Her roles include Ida in Strauss’ Die Fledermaus (Finnish National Opera, 2023), Puss in Cui’s Puss in Boots (Joensuu Opera Association, 2023), Susan in Berkeley’s A Dinner Engagement (Sibelius Academy Opera, 2022), Pamina in Mozart’s The Magic Flute (Sibelius Academy Opera, 2020), and Vespetta in Telemann’s Pimpinone (Northern Opera Company, film). Her concert repertoire includes Bach’s Christmas Oratorio 1-3, St John Passion and St Matthew Passion, and Pergolesi’s Stabat Mater.
