Anna-Maria Palii

Anna-Maria Palii has studied the piano and violin as well as singing since her childhood. Born in 1990, this German soprano graduated from the University of Music and Performing Arts Graz in 2018, and is now continuing her studies at the University of Music and Performing Arts Munich. Palii has won scholarships from the Irmler Foundation (Bamberg) and the Rotary Club. She has sung the roles of Pamina in Mozart’s Magic Flute, Gretel in Humperdinck’s Hansel and Gretel and Ännchen in Weber’s Freischütz, and has also won acclaim as a performer of contemporary music. She has recently sung the solo part in Matthias Pintscher’s With lilies white conducted by the composer, and given the world premières of works by composers including Anna Thorvaldsdottir, Hans Zender and Beat Furrer.
